Members benefits
Everyone is welcome to attend most of Sekava’s events, regardless of membership. However, attendance at the association’s meetings requires membership or supporting membership. Only full members, not supporting members, have the right to vote at the association’s meetings. Similarly, serving on Sekava’s board or as an official requires membership in the association.
By joining, you support Sekava’s activities, so if you regularly attend Sekava’s events, we hope you will join us as a member!

Before signing up to be a member of the organisation, it is recommended to get familiar with the Rules of Sekava. You can access the Rules of Sekava here in Finnish. If you have any questions about the membership, you can contact us at sekavakerho@gmail.com.
By registering as a member, you enable us to continue as an organisation and help shape our events to be in line with the community!
Official Membership
In order to sign up as a member of Sekava, you must first be a member of Tampere universities. A member of Tampere universities refer to students who have enrolled as attending Tampere university and Tampere University of Applied Sciences in the current academic year, otherwise you can join as a supporting member. After graduation, please contact Sekava’s board to cancel your membership or, alternatively, join the support membership. Official membership is completely free.

Support Membership
If you are an Alumni or are not part of the Tampere universities community, you can register through Sekava’s support membership. Support membership for the 2025-2026 semester is 10€ and will be valid for one (1) year (1.9.-31.8.).
